APIGATOR​

Protecting Data in Motion

APIgator protects data in motion. It embeds directly into the systems, or any Gateway, facilitating the movement of data, capable of protecting all data in motion. This includes both data flowing through APIs (JSON and XML format) as well as streaming data (Kafka, Solace, and others).

DATAGATOR​

Protecting Data at Rest

Datagator protects data at rest. It is an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solution that protects large amounts of data being moved from a source to a target. Datagator supports a variety of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) as well as files (csv, fixed width, multiple delimiters).

Both APIgator and Datagator are supported by a central services layer. This layer includes the following components:

  • Policy Management
  • Privacy Enhancing Techniques (PETs)
  • Audit
  • Deployment
  • Principles of Least Privilege
  • Threat Identification and Monitoring
  • Data Access Management including:
  • Roles Based Access Control, or “RBAC”
  • Attribute Based Access Control, or “ABAC”
  • Customer/Consent Based Access Control, or “CBAC”
  • Segregation of Duties, or “SoD”

You can access the Central Services on the eXate platform by firstly login in using the button in the top-right corner of the page and then either navigating to the left-hand menu bar and click “Central Services” or by pressing the “Central Services” button on the Home Dashboard.
