Users

A User can be understood as someone who can use the resources of the eXate application. To navigate to the users permission page, go to the “Admin” section on the left-hand menu and click on the “Users” button. Under this page you will then be able to add, edit and change the status of users.

To add a “User” navigate to the “+” button next to the Users header under “Admin”.

ill in the following fields to add a user:

  • Username: Username of the user

  • Firm: The Firm associated with the user.

  • Country: The country of the user.

  • Department: The department to which the user belongs.

  • Data Usage: For what the data will be used for.

  • Role: The chosen role assigned to the user.

Add Access to Data Subject Types

When adding a user you can also give access to data subject types, this is to add higher privilege to a user. To give access, navigate to the user in question and click the edit button. Once in the edit settings of the user, navigate to the “+” button in the bottom right and select all the Data Subject Types needed. Then confirm by hitting “Add Selected”.
